I assume the folder is faulting as it does not see the linen at the photocell at the end of the drop doors. Two possible issues - belts are loose or worn, the drop doors need to be cleaned and waxed. A third possible problem is damp towel. I have been cleaning the stainless steel and arms on towel folders for years. I presumably like pledge as it does not leave a buildup and is easy to get.

Every shift I spray one side of my widest towel. Feed it in wet side up then wet side down. Cleans and waxes the travel of the towel. On my PM I clean and wax all the stainless and guides.
